Continue your training by learning basic electrical theory including low and high voltage circuits and electrical controls (starters, time clocks, contactors, thermostats, TXV’s, dryers and relays).  PRE: Refrigeration & Air Conditioning 1.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning 3
Build a working refrigeration system with all electrical components and a low voltage A/C circuit board.  This hands-on-training includes pipe and tubing assembly, plus instruction in cutting, flaring and soldering copper tubing.  PRE: Refrigeration & Air Conditioning 2Eye Safety Required.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning 4
Finish the AC & Refrigeration course series with air handlers, air conditioning systems and ice machines, with hands-on experience and special topics in refrigeration and air conditioning for advance students.  PRE: Refrigeration & Air Conditioning 3.  Eye Safety Required.

Refrigerant Transition & Recovery Certification
HVACR mechanics, prepare to be certified in the skills for recovering and recycling refrigerants. This course includes the EPA Approved Certification Exam (Core, I, II, III & Universal).  If students do not pass the initial exam, they may retest for an added fee of $45, when next offered.  Tuition includes textbook and test.

Oil Burner Repair
Oil Burner maintenance mechanics never get left out when it comes to getting a good job.  Start with this hands-on introduction to troubleshooting, servicing and repairing oil burners.  This course includes instruction on basic systems, electrical requirements, simple controls, installation applications and burner capacities.  Eye Safety Required.  Textbook required.

Water, Steam and Hydro Air are the most common residential heating systems in use today.  Gain an understanding of system components and how they work.  Learn to troubleshoot common system problems.  Develop your skills and acquire the techniques necessary to maintain heating systems at peak performance and efficiency.  Eye Safety Required.  Textbook required.
